How I Got Here?
My story is a little different from most. My business started out online. Not in farmers markets, not in craft stores but online only. Today I am looking at opening my very first retail soap shop in 90 Days. There is something crazy about realizing that I am just 3 short months from taking this dream from my dining room to a physical store. There is a lot to get done over the next few months including: space planning, inventory, employees, marketing and finances.

How does it feel?
With the range of emotions there comes a surge of highs and lows. I don't know what I don't know and I've decided to approach this like everything else which is ONE BITE at a time. These are the high level areas I will be focused on over the next few weeks with a plan to execute in parallel.

Of course these are not going to happen one behind the other but they are the areas of focus. For those areas where I have no experience, I will seek guidance from other stores in the area, SBA, Chamber of Commerce along with my very small group of trusted advisors.
