How to Make Aloe Vera Gel
Since many of the stores are sold out of the premade aloe vera gel, you can make your own at home if you have the aloe leaf. To make your own Aloe Vera Gel you will cut the sides and cut the plant into manageable chunks. Once it’s cut remove the outer skin and use a spoon to scrape the gel from the inside of the plant. Use a stick blender to puree the gel. Finally pour the pureed aloe vera through a strainer to eliminate any chunks. Store any unused Aloe Vera Gel in the refrigerator, or freeze it for extended periods of time.
