An extra dose of moisture for your lips
My daughters and I LOVE lip balm. It’s not something that I typically make for my online store but I wanted to give it a shot just to see how difficult it is to make. Thankfully our friends over at Baraka Shea Butter had a recipe and I had all of the ingredients so this made for a great topic for a Live Stream.
Why Use a Lip Balm?
The skin on your lips is the thinnest skin on your face. Lip balm adds an extra layer of protection while imparting moisture and nourishment. This moisture helps to prevent chapping or dry cracked lips. The ingredients that are used in lip balm should have a good balance of essential vitamins and properties to condition the skin. This recipe included Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Vitamin E oil, infused calendula oil and Avocado oil. This is a PARTY for the lips and they will thank you for it. For the complete step by step instructions watch the video and check out the Baraka blog.
